About the Artist

I've been drawing portraits for nearly 20 years. I started in high school by drawing portraits of my girlfriends. It didnt' get me very many dates, but it was pretty cool to find out that I could make a pretty good likeness. Creating a good likeness that tells just a little more about a person than a standard photo is still my favorite part of drawing and painting.

A few years ago, I was able to participate in a few plays at a community theater in Foxboro. In addition to the opportunity it gave me to perform on stage (something I hadn't done since high school), it gave me access to casts of willing models and a venue to showcase my art. In the "real" world, I am a consultant for a computer software company.
